We are delighted to announce the opening of our new Autism Assessment Clinic in Walsall, offering specialised services to children and young people. As part of our commitment to accessible and high-quality care, we are accepting patients under the Right to Choose scheme. If your child is registered with a GP practice in Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall, or Wolverhampton, they are eligible for our services.

How to Access Our Services
To utilise our services under the Right to Choose scheme, you will need a referral from your GP. Once we receive this referral, we can book an assessment for your child within 4 weeks, ensuring a prompt and efficient process.

Our Autism Assessment Process
At Seven Care Services, we follow a comprehensive and structured assessment process to ensure accurate and effective diagnoses:

1. Initial Screening: Before the assessment, we conduct a screening process that involves questionnaires completed by parents and teachers to gain insights into your child’s experiences and behaviours.

2. Assessment Appointment: Conducted by two trained Clinical Psychologists, the assessment includes the use of tools like the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS-2) and the Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised (ADI-R). These sessions can be done remotely or face-to-face.

3. Formulation & Feedback: After the assessment, our clinicians discuss the findings to ensure an accurate diagnosis. The results and recommendations are shared with you within 14-21 days.

4. Report: A detailed report is provided, outlining the diagnosis and recommended support strategies for your child. This report is crucial for planning further care and support.

Why Choose Us?
Our team of Clinical Psychologists at Seven Care Services are fully trained and experienced in conducting thorough and empathetic autism assessments. We aim to make the process as comfortable as possible for both you and your child, ensuring that you feel supported every step of the way.
