Meet the CEO of Seven Care Services: Jeb Singh
Posted on 31st January 2025
At the heart of Seven Care Services is a deep commitment to quality, integrity, and innovation in care. CEO Jeb Singh has dedicated his career to improving services for individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs. With a background in law, social care leadership, and regulatory enforcement, Jeb brings a unique perspective to the sector—one that prioritises high standards, compassionate care, and long-term impact.
We spoke with Jeb to learn more about his journey, his passion for care, and how he and Reita Lebrock built Seven Care Services into the respected organisation it is today.
Jeb, what inspired you to join Seven Care Services?
Having worked in contracts, care management, NHS commissioning, and regulation with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), I had seen the best and worst of the sector. When I was inspecting services for adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs, I repeatedly came across poor practice, neglect, and a lack of truly person-centred care. It was frustrating to witness, and I knew I wanted to be part of the solution rather than just identifying the problems.
When Reita Lebrock and I came together to establish Seven Care Services in 2021, our vision was clear: we wanted to create a service where people with complex needs were treated with dignity, respect, and the same level of care we would expect for our own loved ones.
You originally studied Law at Nottingham University. How did you transition into social care?
Law teaches you critical thinking, problem-solving, and an eye for detail, all of which are invaluable in social care. My first role in the sector was as a contracts manager for a large domiciliary care provider. This gave me insight into how care services operate at a strategic level.
However, I didn’t want to just work with contracts—I wanted to make a real difference on the ground. I became a registered care manager, overseeing frontline services, and later a regional director, where I was responsible for improving care standards across multiple services.
From there, I moved into commissioning for an NHS Trust, ensuring funding was allocated to services that genuinely met people’s needs. My time with CQC as an inspector gave me a regulatory perspective, specialising in enforcement for adult social care. I saw what happened when care went wrong, and I knew I had to be part of delivering something better.
What motivated you to set up the Autism Assessment Service and Ofsted Supported Living Schemes?
When the legislation changed, there was an urgent need for high-quality, specialist services. Many individuals were waiting far too long for an autism diagnosis, and those needing supported accommodation often found themselves placed in inappropriate settings that didn’t meet their needs.
I knew Seven Care Services had the expertise to fill those gaps. We set up our Autism Assessment Service to provide accessible, face-to-face assessments using NICE guidelines, ensuring people got the right diagnosis without unnecessary delays.
At the same time, we developed our Ofsted-supported living schemes to give 16 to 18-year-olds with complex needs a safe, supportive environment where they could develop their independence while receiving high-quality care.
Both of these services were built with care, ethics, and a commitment to excellence at their core.
What do you think sets Seven Care Services apart?
Three things:
Our commitment to treating people as individuals – We never take a “one-size-fits-all” approach. Every service we provide is tailored to the unique needs of the individual.
Our multidisciplinary team – We have a highly skilled team including psychologists, nurses, social care professionals, and autism specialists. This means we can offer comprehensive, evidence-based support.
Our focus on quality and compliance – Because of my background in CQC regulation and enforcement, I’ve made sure that Seven Care Services goes beyond just meeting standards—we strive to exceed them.
We hold Cyber Essentials accreditation, a robust safeguarding framework, and an ethos of continuous improvement.
What do you find most rewarding about your role?
It’s knowing that we are making a genuine difference. Whether it’s a person receiving an autism diagnosis that helps them understand themselves better, or a young person in supported living gaining confidence and independence, those moments matter.
I recently spoke to a parent who told me that before coming to us, their child had been overlooked for years. They felt unheard and unsupported. Now, they have a team that listens, understands, and actively helps.
That’s what drives me—knowing that we’re changing lives, not just providing services.
Outside of work, how do you like to spend your time?
I love to travel—exploring different cultures, food, and perspectives. It’s a great way to unwind and learn new things.
I’m also a huge music fan. Whether it’s live gigs, DJ sets, or just discovering new sounds, music has always been a big part of my life. And of course, I enjoy spending time socialising with friends, because a good conversation and laughter are just as important as hard work.
What’s your vision for the future of Seven Care Services?
I want us to continue leading the way in high-quality care and autism assessments. There’s still so much work to do in the sector, especially when it comes to reducing waiting times for diagnoses and improving supported living options.
I also want to advocate for better regulations and policies that genuinely benefit individuals with autism, learning disabilities, and mental health needs. Good care isn’t just about compliance—it’s about creating environments where people can truly thrive.
I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved so far, and I’m excited for the future of Seven Care Services.
Jeb’s passion for quality care is evident in every aspect of Seven Care Services. With a strong background in law, commissioning, and regulation, he continues to push for high standards and positive change in the sector.
