Today we proudly celebrate International Women’s Day, a global occasion recognising the achievements, leadership, and contributions of women across every community and profession.
At Seven Care Services, this day holds particular importance. Women make up a significant part of our workforce and leadership, and their dedication, compassion, and professionalism are central to the care and support we provide every single day.
Across our organisation, women play vital roles in delivering autism assessments, supporting individuals with learning disabilities, providing complex care in the community, and helping vulnerable children and adults live fulfilling lives.
Leadership That Inspires
Seven Care Services was founded by Reita Lebrock, whose career in health and social care spans decades. Beginning her journey at the age of 18 as a support worker, Reita progressed through roles in domiciliary care, children’s services, housing support schemes, and residential care management.
With a deep passion for improving services for vulnerable people, Reita founded Seven Care Services in 2021. Her vision was simple but powerful — to create a service that prioritises compassion, dignity, and high-quality care for individuals with autism, learning disabilities, and mental health needs.
Today, that vision continues to guide the organisation as we grow our services across supported living, domiciliary care, and autism diagnostic assessments delivered in partnership with NHS commissioners.
Women across our organisation also hold key leadership and clinical roles, helping to shape the quality and culture of the service every day.
Women Making a Difference Every Day
Behind every successful care service is a dedicated team. At Seven Care Services, many of our frontline professionals are women working as:
Support Workers
Nurses
Clinical Leads
Psychologists and Therapists
Service Managers and Team Leaders
Their work goes far beyond providing support. It involves empowering individuals to live independently, helping families navigate complex care needs, and ensuring that those we support are treated with dignity, respect, and understanding.
In many cases, our staff support individuals with complex needs who rely on consistent, specialist care. Their patience, resilience, and professionalism make a lasting difference to the lives of the people we support.
Supporting Women in Health and Social Care
The health and social care sector has long been driven by the commitment of women who dedicate their careers to supporting others.
At Seven Care Services, we are committed to creating opportunities for women to develop professionally, whether that is progressing from frontline care roles into leadership positions or developing specialist clinical skills within our services.
Many members of our leadership team started their careers in direct care roles, demonstrating that the sector provides meaningful career pathways and opportunities to grow.
Thank You
On this International Women’s Day, we would like to recognise and thank the incredible women who work across Seven Care Services and the wider health and social care sector.
Your compassion, dedication, and professionalism make an enormous difference to the individuals and families we support.
Today, and every day, we celebrate the impact you make.
