Complex Domiciliary Care

At Seven Care Services, we provide complex domiciliary care for individuals with significant health needs who require skilled support in their own homes.
Our service specialises in delivering delegated healthcare tasks safely and effectively, ensuring people can remain in the community while receiving the level of care they need.

What Are Delegated Healthcare Tasks?

Delegated healthcare tasks are clinical procedures or interventions normally carried out by registered healthcare professionals (such as nurses) but formally delegated to trained support staff.
Administration of medication via enteral feeding tubes (PEG/PEJ).
Catheter and stoma care.
Tracheostomy care and suctioning.
Oxygen therapy and nebuliser use.
Epilepsy management, including rescue medication.
Blood glucose monitoring and insulin administration.
Wound care and pressure area management.

Our Approach

We ensure every delegated task is:

Authorised

by the relevant healthcare professional (e.g., NHS community nurse).

Planned

clearly documented in the individual’s care plan.

Trained

with staff receiving comprehensive, competency-based training before delivering the task.

Supervised

with ongoing clinical oversight to maintain safety and compliance.

Reviewed

regularly assessed to ensure standards are maintained.

Training and Competency

Our Clinical Trainer provides:

Bespoke training tailored to each service user’s needs.
Competency assessments to confirm staff can perform tasks safely.
Refresher training and updates in line with clinical guidelines.
